first post, oil painting

Okay, to start, I'll show you my current art project, oil painting. But before I do, I should tell you how my interest got started. Mom knew I really liked art, so she checked out a Bob Ross instructional video from the library for me. I watched it and a couple days later (which is now), I have my first two paintings done. I then took them to the professional oil painter I know and she said they were really good, especially since this is my first time and I wasn't copying anything, either. Here they are:
